Ace of Hearts Creek Rotary Park

Off-leash Dog Area

Anacortes, WA

Our permanent home at Ace of Hearts Rotary Park (38th & H Aves) is now under construction.   The site will accommodate a 1.5 acre fenced dog park, a baseball field and an extensive wetland and pond system from the Ace of Hearts Creek. The new park complex is a community and City of Anacortes project. Anacortes Noon Rotary Club as well as FIDO (Fidalgo Islanders for Dogs Off-leash) are assisting through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

The new park will be developed in stages as funding becomes available. The dog park portion is the first area being worked on and THE FENCE IS NOW UP!   The other features will be installed throughout the      next several months, including a concrete slab with       a watering station & wash-off hose, a gazebo, and benches, etc.

Trees & shrubs are about to be planted and we'll need help  --  so email us at info@anacortesdogpark.com if you are able & willing to help!

Fundraising at this point is essential, to help pay for the fence!

See the Fund-a-Fence project on the Events page.

Although we've been raising funds for the past few years,

we will still need a bit more to do all the fun things we'd like to do

to make it a great dog park for the community!

Please see the Events page for our fundraising opportunities, current projects, and events.

More dog park construction photos coming soon!

Water at the Dog Park:  If you are a visitor of the dog park you know that we do not have running water at our temporary site.  Please help out and take a jug home to fill and bring back at your next visit -- it is be greatly appreciated!  Thank you to all who regularly fill the empty jugs.
