FIDO faithful and friends cleaned up Tommy Thompson trail
In response to the public outcry about dog droppings along the Tommy Thompson trail, FIDO (Fidalgo Islanders for Dogs Off-leash) mustered a crew of 17 dog lovers to brave the wet weather on Saturday, June 18 to "scoop the poop." We found far more cigarette butts and trash than dog leavings and we left the trail as clean as possible from the restrooms out to the trestle.
